How to Track Your Insulin Pen with an Apple AirTag

Can You Put an AirTag on an Insulin Pen?
An Apple AirTag isn't designed to attach directly to the cylindrical body of an insulin pen.

Finding Your Pen with Apple Find My
AirTag uses Apple's Find My network to help locate attached belongings.
Depending on your Apple device and the circumstances, Find My can provide features including playing a sound from the AirTag, displaying its reported location and providing nearby-finding assistance on compatible devices.
The availability and accuracy of these features depend on Apple's hardware, software, network and surrounding devices.
Does PenGuard Affect the Insulin Pen?
PenGuard is an external accessory.
It doesn't electronically communicate with the insulin pen, insulin cartridge or dosing mechanism, and no modification of the pen is required.
Its job is straightforward: provide a convenient way to attach a compatible item tracker to a compatible insulin pen.
Which Insulin Pens Are Compatible?
PenGuard is available in versions designed for specific compatible insulin pens and trackers.
Because insulin pens can differ in dimensions and design, check the compatibility information on the individual PenGuard product page before ordering.
You can also choose between versions designed for Apple AirTag and compatible Chipolo trackers, depending on the tracking system you prefer to use.
